Universitas Amikom Purwokerto

Overview

The Rector Scholarship of Universitas Amikom Purwokerto is a scholarship program provided by Universitas Amikom Purwokerto. The scholarship is available to international prospective students, and the benefits include:

  • Tuition fee waiver for 8 semesters (4 years)
  • Living allowance of Rp. 1,000,000/month
  • Research funding of Rp. 3,000,000 (granted once after journal publication)
  • Student health insurance coverage

Required Documents for International Students

  1. Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  2. Latest academic certificate
  3. Recent colored passport photo
  4. Valid passport (minimum 18 months validity)
  5. Study permit declaration letter
  6. Medical certificate (issued within the last 60 days)
  7. Proof of insurance ownership

Note: Files must be in JPG, PNG, or PDF format with a maximum size of 300KB.

Application Procedure

  1. Send all required documents to hello@amikompurwokerto.ac.id
  2. Attend an online interview session with Universitas Amikom Purwokerto
  3. Results will be announced via email and WhatsApp

Enrollment Process

  1. Submitted documents will be verified by the university
  2. Eligible applicants will be proposed to the Ministry of Education for a study permit recommendation
  3. Once the recommendation is issued, the university will register the applicant for an online visa (visa cost covered by the applicant)
  4. After the online visa is approved, applicants will be notified via email/WhatsApp
  5. Applicants are allowed to enter Indonesia (accommodation expenses are the responsibility of the applicant)
  6. Upon arrival, the KITAS (Temporary Stay Permit Card) process begins
  7. Applicants will attend BIPA (Indonesian Language Program for Foreigners)
  8. Applicants will fill in course registration (KRS) assisted by an academic advisor
  9. Begin academic lectures
Note:
  • Visa application and renewal fees are the responsibility of the student
  • KITAS application and renewal fees are the responsibility of the student

STEPS FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENT REGISTRATION

Registration Stages:
  1. Apply for a Study Permit to the Ministry of Education via https://izinbelajar.kemdikbud.go.id/content/student
    Required Documents:
    • Curriculum Vitae (CV)
    • Latest Academic Certificate
    • Colored Passport Photo
    • Valid Passport
    • Financial Guarantee Letter
    • Study Permit Declaration Letter
    • Recent Medical Certificate (within 60 days)
    • Recommendation Letter from the University

    Note: Files must be in JPG/PNG/PDF format, max size 300KB

  2. Wait for approval from the Ministry of Education
  3. Download the Study Permit Approval Letter
  4. Visa Application Process
    • a. REGISTRATION
      1. Select the sponsor type
      2. Enter sponsor data
      3. Upload required documents according to sponsor type
      4. Sponsor validation and approval process
      5. Receive notification: if approved, sponsor receives username/password; if rejected, reason provided
      6. Submit visa application as a registered sponsor
    • b. VISA SUBMISSION
      1. Submit online via visa-online.imigrasi.go.id
      2. Log in with username and password
      3. Click "Create Application"
      4. Understand and agree to terms
      5. Select visa type and foreigner's activity
      6. Choose foreigner location: offshore or onshore
      7. Select payment method: SIMPONI or Free of Charge (Rp. 0 / USD 0)
      8. Fill in foreigner data and plan
      9. Upload required documents (JPEG format, 100–400KB, aligned and complete)
      10. Submit application
      11. Receive visa billing code (valid for 7 days)
      12. Make payment; verification takes up to 5 working days
      13. Approved: receive e-visa | Rejected: receive reason
  5. VISA ISSUED
    Foreigner can enter Indonesia through an authorized immigration checkpoint, with health protocols:
    • Show valid visa (physical or e-visa)
    • Show full-dose COVID-19 vaccination proof
    • Provide negative RT-PCR test (within 3x24 hours before departure)
    • Show confirmed accommodation payment for quarantine (if applicable)
  6. AFTER ARRIVAL IN INDONESIA
    • Single Entry Visa Holders:
      No need to report to Immigration unless extending stay (can extend up to 4 times, 30 days each)
    • Limited Stay Visa Holders:
      Must report to local Immigration office within 30 days to obtain a Limited Stay Permit (ITAS)
