Universitas Amikom Purwokerto
Overview
The Rector Scholarship of Universitas Amikom Purwokerto is a scholarship program provided by Universitas Amikom Purwokerto. The scholarship is available to international prospective students, and the benefits include:
- Tuition fee waiver for 8 semesters (4 years)
- Living allowance of Rp. 1,000,000/month
- Research funding of Rp. 3,000,000 (granted once after journal publication)
- Student health insurance coverage
Required Documents for International Students
- Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Latest academic certificate
- Recent colored passport photo
- Valid passport (minimum 18 months validity)
- Study permit declaration letter
- Medical certificate (issued within the last 60 days)
- Proof of insurance ownership
Note: Files must be in JPG, PNG, or PDF format with a maximum size of 300KB.
Application Procedure
- Send all required documents to hello@amikompurwokerto.ac.id
- Attend an online interview session with Universitas Amikom Purwokerto
- Results will be announced via email and WhatsApp
Enrollment Process
- Submitted documents will be verified by the university
- Eligible applicants will be proposed to the Ministry of Education for a study permit recommendation
- Once the recommendation is issued, the university will register the applicant for an online visa (visa cost covered by the applicant)
- After the online visa is approved, applicants will be notified via email/WhatsApp
- Applicants are allowed to enter Indonesia (accommodation expenses are the responsibility of the applicant)
- Upon arrival, the KITAS (Temporary Stay Permit Card) process begins
- Applicants will attend BIPA (Indonesian Language Program for Foreigners)
- Applicants will fill in course registration (KRS) assisted by an academic advisor
- Begin academic lectures

- Visa application and renewal fees are the responsibility of the student
- KITAS application and renewal fees are the responsibility of the student
STEPS FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENT REGISTRATION
Registration Stages:

Apply for a Study Permit to the Ministry of Education via

Required Documents:- Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Latest Academic Certificate
- Colored Passport Photo
- Valid Passport
- Financial Guarantee Letter
- Study Permit Declaration Letter
- Recent Medical Certificate (within 60 days)
- Recommendation Letter from the University
Note: Files must be in JPG/PNG/PDF format, max size 300KB
- Wait for approval from the Ministry of Education
- Download the Study Permit Approval Letter

Visa Application Process

a. REGISTRATION
- Select the sponsor type
- Enter sponsor data
- Upload required documents according to sponsor type
- Sponsor validation and approval process
- Receive notification: if approved, sponsor receives username/password; if rejected, reason provided
- Submit visa application as a registered sponsor

b. VISA SUBMISSION
- Submit online via visa-online.imigrasi.go.id
- Log in with username and password
- Click "Create Application"
- Understand and agree to terms
- Select visa type and foreigner's activity
- Choose foreigner location: offshore or onshore
- Select payment method: SIMPONI or Free of Charge (Rp. 0 / USD 0)
- Fill in foreigner data and plan
- Upload required documents (JPEG format, 100–400KB, aligned and complete)
- Submit application
- Receive visa billing code (valid for 7 days)
- Make payment; verification takes up to 5 working days
- Approved: receive e-visa | Rejected: receive reason

VISA ISSUED
Foreigner can enter Indonesia through an authorized immigration checkpoint, with health protocols:- Show valid visa (physical or e-visa)
- Show full-dose COVID-19 vaccination proof
- Provide negative RT-PCR test (within 3x24 hours before departure)
- Show confirmed accommodation payment for quarantine (if applicable)

AFTER ARRIVAL IN INDONESIA

Single Entry Visa Holders:
No need to report to Immigration unless extending stay (can extend up to 4 times, 30 days each) -
Limited Stay Visa Holders:
Must report to local Immigration office within 30 days to obtain a Limited Stay Permit (ITAS)
